We are looking for Time and Attendance Specialists to be part of the Time and Attendance processing team to deliver high quality products and processes to enable all Gist UK and Ireland employees to be paid accurately and on time.

We offer competitive rates of pay £20,936 per annum and are looking for hard working and dedicated people to join our friendly team who are looking to get fully involved and make a difference every day.

Your responsibilities

You will work as part of a dedicated payroll team based at our Barnsley Financial Management Centre. Our Time and Attendance Specialists take responsibility for the following:

  • To provide excellent Time and Attendance service which meets or exceeds agreed business requirements and timescales.
  • To develop and maintain excellent customer relationships to define and anticipate further customer requirements and ensure process issues arising are quickly resolved.
  • To deliver an effective Time and Attendance Service within your defined business area to                 support the independent control of accuracy of Gist UK and Irish payrolls.
  • Ensure all outputs from payroll including robust reconciliations are fully compliant to audit and legislative requirements.
  • Work with the team through CRM/ESC ensuring all pay queries meet agreed SLA’s and MI is utilised to identify improvements and minimise pay query volumes for T and A system.
  • Ensure all HAP/HPP activity is maintained and regular updates are supplied to finance within your business area
  • Conduct thorough depot analysis and work with managers to resolve queries improving the manager’s knowledge to support getting the data right at first point of entry into the system.
  • Work with agency providers to raise PO’s and resolve any queries they raise within agreed SLA’s
 
Working as part of a wider team, we are offering permanent opportunities Monday- Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. We are in a position to consider part time working opportunities too.

What will you need to succeed? 

  • Strong T and A background
  • Proven excellent relationship skills with customers and employees  
  • Proven record of delivery of process improvements
  • Ability to maintain high level of accuracy including when under pressure
  • CIPP Payroll Technician qualified, of qualifies by experience
  • Experience of time and attendance systems ideally Kronos
