Are you interested in working in the public sector? Our government client is looking for friendly professionals to join their busy team based in Manchester city centre.
This role will involve providing general administrative support and clerking hearings. This is a very customer focused role so you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and deal with issues in a calm and professional manner.
You will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
Clerking duties will include
- Providing a high quality service to the Judiciary and Customers who attend for their hearings.
- Meeting and greeting Judicial panel members, Customers and Reps.
- Ensuring that hearings are managed on time and in line with the guidance for clerking.
- Updating the database with outcomes and produce Decision Notices on the day.
- Ensuring that First Tier Agencies are notified of the Decisions.
- Dealing with Customer queries that may arise on the day and ensure that they understand the hearing process.
This is a temporary ongoing position based in Manchester City Centre. Pay rate starting at £7 rising to £9 after 12 weeks. Working hours are 9-5, Monday - Friday.
Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal check and will need to provide 3 years worth of references.
