A salary of £8.68 - £10.15 per hour (NHS Band 3) plus mileage

Your role as a Home First Support Worker will include:

  • Enabling people to remain safe and well in their own home
  • Assisting people to live as independently as possible within their own home
  • To support people when in crisis, and to avoid crisis
  • Supporting people to die at home safely where that is their choice

The post holder will be required to:

  • Have the essential qualifications, NVQ/QCF level 2 or equivalent in a health and social care related subject
  • Undertake training and development to achieve NVQ Level 3
  • Be an excellent communicator, including written skills and the ability to assess and feedback to other professionals
  • To work on a flexible rota including evenings and weekends in line with the service demands
  • Attend staff meetings and training relevant to their post
