Fantastic new opportunity for a new Vehicle Sales and Rental Branch Manager !!!

The role will take day to day responsibility for the new Vehicle Sales and Rental Branch in Gloucester.

The role holder will be responsible for the effective operation of the site, initially in a very hands on capacity. The role holder will need to think, act and execute as though this is a new start up business, which they are fully responsible for.

The role holder will be responsible for achieving weekly vehicle sales and vehicle rental targets, delivering service excellence to our customers, and in taking direct responsibility for growing the vehicle rental business through developing positive new relationships with local businesses.

The Person Requirement:

The ideal person will demonstrate an appetite for success, with energy and enthusiasm and will be a natural and confident communicator and poses a natural selling flair and instinct.

Demonstrating the ability to work confidently on their own is essential, as is the ability to think and act with pace and agility in order to drive sales and provide excellent service.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate energy around their own career and personal development, and would ideally have the capacity for both role and career progression within GO in the future.

Experience of vehicle sales and/or vehicle rental experience is essential.

Key Role Outcomes:

* Delivering service excellence
* Responsible for achieving weekly rental booking sales targets
* Responsible for achieving weekly vehicle sales targets
* Taking ownership for the physical rental operation, including vehicle prep, parking and the physical issuing and returning of vehicles.
* Effectively manages all vehicles, re-charges for any damage, and ensures all vehicles are maintained and serviced correctly.
* Contacting new and existing customers to improve sales and customer service
* Developing great relationships with local businesses to drive sales and long-term relationships
* Site security and health and safety

Days / Hours of Work:

Full time position, Monday - Friday 08:00 -17:30 Sat 08:00 - 10:00AM

Previous Experience

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following working environments / roles

* A minimum of 5 years relevant previous work experience, ideally in either a sales or vehicle related sector
* A strong record in service and customer focused role
* A demonstrable track record of delivering excellent customer service
* Previous experience in sales and customer focused vehicle related role would be a distinct advantage.
* A good basic level of IT skills and experience is required.
* A general interest in the logistics, transport or vehicle sector.
