The Passage provides a range of support services to homeless and vulnerable people in London. Our mission is to provide resources which encourage, inspire and challenge homeless people to transform their lives. We are currently looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to join our busy Resource Centre Team where you will focus on ensuring the delivery of all aspects of our services and ensuring they are relevant to our Irish clients. Irish Specialist Coordinator GBP28,404 pa Inc. LW + pension + other benefits Fixed Term until June 2019 Full time 35 hours per week across a 7 day rota Ref: IPC/CDS/052 We are currently looking to recruit an Irish Specialist Co-ordinator to join our busy Client Development Service where you will focus on ensuring the delivery of all aspects of our services and ensuring they are relevant to our Irish clients. This will include carrying out a needs analysis of Irish clients and investigating the opportunities for developing new services for homeless and vulnerable Irish service users. In conjunction with the Client Development Manager you will set and monitor targets and outcomes and also be involved in undertaking other research as appropriate. Carrying out initial assessments with those identified as having an Irish connection will also form part of your remit, as will visiting service users in prison, hospital and where they are living. To be considered for this highly rewarding position, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, combined with in depth experience of working with homeless and/or vulnerable Irish people, including assessing client needs, advocacy for vulnerable individuals and working with voluntary and statutory agencies. Previous experience of undertaking research projects and service development would be an advantage and the flexibility to attend events and work shifts (including one weekend in every four) is essential.
