Client is an award-winning design and software development agency based in Manchester City Centre that specialises in UX design and software development. We design and build websites, mobile apps and full platforms which deliver true value to our clients.

We are over four years old and have had continued year-on-year growth and are looking at bringing in an additional Business Development Manager / Software Sales Consultant to join the existing sales team to help us grow the business further.
We are looking for a Sales Professional with a strong track record of new business sales of digital projects or bespoke software solutions into the corporate sector. You must be able to manage the complete sales process from initial identification of a prospect, through scoping requirements to successful contract negotiation and close.

The leading provider to the gambling and gaming sectors, both domestic and international, with very strong financial backing
65% of new business is in the gambling industry, however, are strong in other sectors such as travel and financial services and looking to grow this side of the business
Excellent case studies available covering bespoke ecommerce platforms, complex app and website developments
Marketing support, technical and creative support available when required

Key Responsibilities:
You will sit within the sales team and report to the Managing Director. You will be based in the office in Manchester city centre.

What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years’ experience of selling bespoke digital products, platforms, or mobile software solutions.
Experience selling solutions into the gambling sectors would be very interesting.
A consultative salesperson used to dealing with a multi stage sale with deal values on average of £80k - £100k+
Should be able to / feel comfortable liaising with other departments to gain information needed to build out proposals
Comfortable presenting and demonstrating concepts at Director level
Capable of opening doors, identifying opportunities and closing business
Experience in building contact list and nurturing over a period of time to generate new business
Commercially aware with the ability to understand full business processes
Organised and able to keep reporting up to date
Articulate, tenacious and ambitious with a high degree of personal integrity
Able to work to KPI’s & deadlines (it’s an aggressive industry and must be able to backup workflow for the business)
Be able to travel to new business meetings at fairly short notice with the potential of being away for a day or more
