About the role 

The role of Head of Planning and Strategy Delivery exists primarily to ensure clear that clear strategic goals are in place, that strategy is fully embedded and strategic plans across the University’s department aligned. In addition, the post holder supports the decision-making and management processes of the University. 

We are open to receiving applications from candidates with or without experience of working in higher education. You may have worked as a management consultant or in senior strategy roles within a different industry, and can bring something different to the table.

About you (requirements)

With experience of leading strategy and planning in complex organisations, you will have a strong track record of managing teams and successful projects and programmes. You will be highly numerate and articulate and be able to interpret complex data for senior managers, utilising the available management information and independent research, to provide actionable recommendations and support decision-making.
