This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, within the School of Pharmacy.

Applications are invited for the post of Admissions and Recruitment Administrator within the School of Pharmacy. The post-holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive high level of administrative support to the undergraduate admissions/marketing teams in relation to both the MPharm and BSc programmes; ensuring that all relevant administrative systems that support the programmes are in place and operate efficiently and effectively.

You will have the ability to communicate both face-to-face and on the telephone with students, staff at all levels within the School and across campus and with outside agencies. Time management and an ability to prioritise a diverse workload are important in order to be able to accurately process multiple tasks within specified timescales. You will be working in a busy and fast moving environment and should possess initiative, drive and commitment. The ability to be a team player is paramount, whilst also being able to operate with minimum supervision.

You must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grades A to C, including English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications or experience), and an NVQ in Business Administration or Customer Service. All original examination certificates must be provided at interview.  You should also have experience of using Microsoft Office in the workplace, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to be able to support occasional weekend or evening work is also essential.
