Quality Engineer
The Quality department currently have an opportunity for a Engineer to join their team.
This role will work directly with the Quality Supervisor. The successful candidate will follow the standard days shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Friday 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
The role of Quality Engineer:
- Monitor the operation and maintain the standard of cleanliness of the packaging area.
- Ensure all procedures, work standards, drawing relating to process specification and product quality are maintained.
- Complete and co-ordinate process audits and quality verification.
- Analyse quality checks, daily defects and customer complaint root causes.
- Continuous review of where to “add value” to the quality of products and process.
- Undertake new product evaluations and machine setting data to ensure product quality.
- Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available, controlled (calibrated) to meet set standards.
- Provide full Quality Engineering support and advice to all production areas.
- Co-ordinate daily quality meetings with production and engineering staff with the aim to identify and formulate actions against top issues.
