An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Portfolio Manager to join us in Leeds on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Property Acquisitions and Office Manager, you will manage all aspects of a temporary accommodation portfolio comprising of a variety of contracted housing management services through MHM’s registered providers; Plexus Housing Association and Omega Housing.

You will be responsible for tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, income management, welfare benefits advice, ensuring properties are in good condition and health and safety risks are identified and corrected. Furthermore, you may be responsible for managing local cleaning/caretaking services.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of tenancy and property management, coupled with experience of delivering high quality customer services.

With proven delivery of innovative solutions, you will have experience of meeting KPI targets and will be able to service several clients with different needs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required for this position and you should be motivated, able to use your own initiative and have the ability to stay calm under pressure.

In addition, exceptional organisational and time management skills are important and you will have strong IT skills (Word, Excel and on-line systems).

Due to the nature of the role, candidates should be willing to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and will have a clean full driving licence.

Although not essential, experience of temporary accommodation and experience of working in housing management within the public and private sectors would be beneficial.

Working Hours – 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
