Purpose of the Role

To provide assistance to the Administration Manager with accounts tasks, i.e. Daily Banking, posting of bank transactions, processing purchase ledger invoices, checking supplier statements, processing supplier payment run.  Also you will provide assistance to the Sales Administration team with bringing vehicles in to stock and invoicing vehicles to customers.

 

 What does the job entail?

  • Accurate maintenance of the purchase ledger and the cash book.
  • Ensure the application of the Group accounting procedures.
  • Periodic reconciliation of ledger accounts.
  • Assist with the compilation of monthly payment run and ad hoc cheques as necessary.
  • Assist with the preparation of year end audit schedules.
  • Matching of purchase orders to invoices.
  • General filing and other housekeeping tasks.
  • To assist with data input to computer system as required.
  • General office duties.
  • To adhere to ISO9002 procedures.
  • Monitoring the authorisation and coding of purchase invoices.
  • Assist with the production of monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation of annual audit schedules.
  • Assistance with any other task as directed
