Assistant Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant- Edinburgh

My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Edinburgh.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Hydrology, Environmental Management or Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans and Surface Water Drainage Strategy.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Drainage and Infrastructure Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities based in the UK, Ireland and overseas.

Applicants will also be supported and trained to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Surface Water Drainage Strategy.

-SuDS and Sewerage design for large scale Residential Developments using Microdrainage (full training provided).

-Drainage Area Planning.
