The Role:
Working for a national Tool and Plant hire provider, you will be working as a Driver / Tool Hire Fitter. Joining a small team, driving duties will include delivering and collecting construction plant & tools. Driving an open back Transit type van, you will also sometimes be required to deliver small plant towing a trailer. The ideal candidate will have previous delivery driving experience in the Shrewsbury area, as well as experience testing and checking a range of Small Tools and equipment, including Stihl Saws, Petrol Generators, Hydraulic Power Packs and 110v Power Tools. As part of the role you will also be expected to assist within the depot team as required.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Driver / Tool Hire Fitter Your Job Role Would Include:
* Deliver and Collect Tool Hire Equipment from Site
* PDI's, Servicing & Repairing Tool Hire Equipment
* Working Effectively In A Small Team
* Complete Basic Paperwork as required
* Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards
Skills:
The Ideal Candidate for the Driver / Tool Hire Fitter Role Will Have:
* Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Tool Hire Driver, Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Tool Fitter, Hire Technician, Test & Run
* You Will Need Previous Experience within the Tool Hire Industry
* Analytical Approach To Problem Solving
* Able to Work Without Instruction
* Full Driving License
