An expanding company that offers a complete design, installation and maintenance service for a range of innovative, imaginative and bespoke play spaces within the new house build sector and currently work with most of the major national house building companies across the UK is seeking an Area Sales Manager based in Northampton to join its team. You will receive many benefits such as open-ended commission earnings (1% of the value of confirmed orders, paid monthly), a company car (or car allowance), laptop, mobile phone and a pension scheme.

As the Area Sales Manager, your duties will be to:

?? Develop relationships within the New House Build sector to maximise opportunities to tender and quote for their new build related play area or playground requirements.

You will be fully supported in your role by a team of specialist play area designers who consistently come up with innovative and imaginative designs all centred around engaging with children to entice them into being more active within an external play environment as well as a customer service and management team with an in-depth knowledge of the sector and your customer base who can provide the training and support needed to maximise new business opportunities and conversions within this role.

The company is happy to review Area Sales Managers who have worked in an internal sales support or customer service role related to play equipment, landscaping or the new build sector as well as those who have sold new build properties. You will understand the target market as well as having the solution based sales experience or have sold product targeted at the construction sector in an external sales role, what is key is a passion for developing relationships, solution based sales experience, being willing to learn and have an enthusiastic approach to work.

The role will be split two days in the office and three days meeting with clients, initially spending more time office based as you learn the role and equally initially being supported in external meetings by the team.

In return, the Manager will receive a basic salary of between GBP23,000 - GBP28,000 per annum which is negotiable dependent on experience.
