Supply Chain Manager
Responsible for a team of up to 18 people.
Responsible for the consolidation of Global Forecasts, MPS, Vendor Scheduling and EPD/NPD implementation in the Nottingham factory.
The role requires close working relationships with other senior Supply roles i.e. UK Planning and Logistics Manager, Site Lead\Operations Managers, Purchasing Managers.
The client, a Manufacturing and Production business with a base in Nottingham, is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager. The role of the Supply Chain Manager will include:
To optimise the effectiveness of the Nottingham Planning and Customer Service team; support the team through the sites transformation and lead the team through the changes required
To monitor and report on customer service issues of manufacturing relating to internal and external customers
To build excellent relationships with external customers through delivery against commitments
Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained for finished goods without affecting customer service
Analyse packing and manufacturing requirements, and operational issues to create a rough cut capacity manufacturing plan
Ensure the data generated by the Planning and Customer Service teams is robust and accurate to ensure the site takes the correct strategic decisions
Work collaboratively with the UK Planning and Logistics Manager to determine and implement the requirements of the Sales & Operation Plan
Ensuring the factory plans are achievable using Master Production Schedules and co-ordination of vendor scheduling
Achieving launch dates for Existing Product Development and New Product Development projects
The Successful applicant for the role of Supply Chain Manager will have:
Significant site operational planning experience, preferably in an FMCG environment
Detailed knowledge of SAP (hands on use and implementation)
Detailed knowledge of sales forecast processes & system
Detailed knowledge of planning processes eg SNP\JDE\SAP
Knowledge of MRP, MRPII and Sales & Operation Planning
Graduate calibre with brand experience of Planning\Supply, Logistics and ability to deal with complex issues with customers on a Global basis through effective communication
Detailed knowledge of materials resource planning
