Junior-Mid Front End Web Developer (HTML5, CSS3 & JS)

++ We are the UK's largest eCommerce retailer in our space and are looking to recruit a skilled Front-End Web Developer to strengthen our technology division. This is the ideal role for an enthusiastic person with solid web development skills and an appreciation for awesome design ++

The ideal candidate would have a solid experience of implementing visual designs using HTML5/CSS3/JS within a .NET MVC environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Contribute in designing & developing our e-commerce platform, with intuitive functionality for our online customers
+ Work closely with our internal strategic teams to develop tools to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of our business
+ Contribute to key development decisions within the company

The successful individual will have the following skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

+ Solid commercial web development experience
+ Leading knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Razor, .NET MVC Framework
+ Good understanding of front end development across multiple browsers and mobile
+ Be able to work as part of a team and to demonstrate excellent communication skills
+ Ability to adopt an MVC methodology with an understanding of scalable and reusable code
+ The ability to work independently and be capable of visualising alternate solutions and make educated decisions
+ Be able to participate in project reviews and evaluations, giving feedback, ideas and concepts in support of the company’s development.
+ Good experience championing good web design practices and secure code

Desirable Skills:

+ Knowledge of Angularjs, Umbraco or DNN
+ A computer science degree, college diploma, or similar is preferred but not required if the candidate can demonstrate equivalent commercial experience
