Systems Analyst

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000

The Role:

·To maintain the reliability and security of business systems, providing 2nd line and 3rd line support to business systems users and customers.

·To develop reporting to assist the business in a clear and accurate format. Analysing new and current systems and proposing enhancements with the aim to improve business efficiency.

·Compile reports using Microsoft SQL Server Stack and Alteryx

·Monitor servers and infrastructure performance

·Review the merit/security of change requests to enhance the systems and implement where applicable

·Evaluate and recommend integrations with 4th parties and the benefits to the company

·Evaluate and compile a business case for any additional systems

·Prepare a detailed specification for any proposed solution

·Test any proposed solution to ensure its effectiveness before final implementation

·Assist in the implementation of any new system, taking any remedial action necessary to ensure that it is working effectively

·Provide any necessary documentation and technical support following implementation to end users

·Train users in the new system to ensure that it continues to work effectively and to their satisfaction

·Electronically document all change requests

·Ensure ISO 270001, GDPR and IT systems policy and procedure adherence

·Experience and knowledge of web based technologies
