The Company and the Role:
The Company has been established since 1994 and since this date the company has achieved NSI Gold Status for CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control as well as The BAFE SP203 accreditation for fire alarms.
Gold status is only given to companies who meet the security industry's highest standards.
They are currently seeking a Sales Executive to be based at their offices in central Hampshire. The position is permanent.
The company's sales team cover an area including London and the Home Counties. A majority of their work is through electrical contractors and they have a healthy database base of both contractors and end users.
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to develop and grow new and existing business within the construction industry tendering for works via a selection of M&E clients.
You will be responsible for obtaining new opportunities within this sector as well as building relationships with the existing M&E clients you are given.

Key Features of the Role:
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be targeted on increasing the sale of new installations for M&E clients for the following elements:-
Fire Alarms, Disabled Refuge, WC Alarms, Access Control, Door Entry, CCTV, IP CCTV and Intruder Alarm Systems
Quotations will be prepared via information received from M&E clients in the form of Tender Specifications and Drawings.
You will also be responsible for preparing quotations, costings and converting them into sales.

Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished sales professional with experience of the construction sector specifically in the area of fire and security alarms and have the ability to prepare quotations from tender drawings and specifications issued by the M&E clients.
This will include the design of Fire Alarm systems so sound knowledge of current regulations would be an advantage.
The position will require a focused and determined individual with a proven track record and willingness to listen, learn and succeed.
You should have a proven track record of target achievement.
You should possess sound knowledge of Fire Alarms, Disabled Refuge, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Door Entry and CCTV systems.
You should have excellent organisational and planning skills.
You should be IT / PC literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word packages and Excel.
You must have a full UK driving licence.
Although your office base will be in Central Hampshire, the role will require travelling into London and throughout the Home Counties and along the M3/M4 Corridors.
Your working hours will be from 08.30 to 17.30 on site. These hours are the minimum requirements for you to carry out your duties. Travelling will be in your own time.

What's on Offer:
Salary will be in a range of between GBP29-34k per annum depending upon your experience. In addition, a company vehicle is provided.
In addition to the basic salary, an uncapped Commission is payable as is a Quarterly
Bonus and an above End of Year Bonus.
Other benefits provided are 21 days holiday increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 plus bank and public holidays, Fuel Card and Mobile Phone.
