I am currently recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a market leading Manufacturer who value and reward their employees to a great extent. My client holds a global presence by designing and distributing high quality products to their prestigious customers around the world.

Whilst reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of filters and heaters to varying design requirements on time and to the highest quality standards within a high volume small assembly area.

Your main responsibilities will include

- Assisting the Engineering team to develop and sign off designs and drawings.
- Working to deadlines to ensure despatch dates are met
- Manufacture of heaters to include electrical work, strip cable and attach connectors and plugs, hose fitting to units and packaging.
- Manufacture of filters, general assembly to include manifolds, valves and filters
- General production of various components
- To strive for continuous improvement with each and every build

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of an Engineering experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and pipefitting systems. It is important that you are able to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials

You will be computer literate and experienced with all Microsoft Office packages including emails, labelling and printing. An excellent knowledge of Excel is necessary along with great communication skills and an exceptional eye for detail. Six sigma / lean manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous.

Salary is up to £21,000 per annum along with an excellent benefits.

Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus Bank Holiday which increases with length of service

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7 to 16:45pm and Friday, 7 to 14:50pm.
