What it’s about

Exam Processing is a diverse and fast-paced team within the Operations division of Cambridge Assessment International Education and is committed to excellence and delivering the right results for our candidates. As part of our team you will be joining a supportive group who act as the hub for ensuring that every candidate has the correct mark prior to issuing results. The Exam Processing Administrator plays a vital role within this team engaging with internal and external stakeholders on a wide range of activities. You will be responsible for the accurate delivery of a set of processes while managing several competing deadlines. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills who is pro-active and highly organised.

What you’ll be doing

You will:

  • develop an in-depth knowledge of processes in the Exam Processing team and carry them out to agreed quality standards and schedules, achieving the overarching goal of providing candidates with the right grade, first time, on time
  • process and analyse data accurately, respond to customer queries, investigate issues and perform quality checks on results data
  • contribute ideas to process improvements and assist in the design and delivery of improvement projects
  • manage changes to processes and working patterns
  • keep procedure documents updated
  • supervise and train temporary colleagues
  • cover ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Exam Processing Coordinators or Group Manager

What we’re looking for

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE at grade A-C, or equivalent, including Mathematics and English, is essential
  • A-level or equivalent is desirable

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Confident business communication skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new skills and processes easily and quickly
