Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our international manufacturing company based in Leighton Buzzard. The Maintenance Engineer will be joining a dynamic and friendly team working on a double days shift.
The daily duties of the Maintenance Engineer are:
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on injection moulding and automated assembly machinery.
Fault finding on PLC systems including Beckhoff.
Maintaining equipment such as hot runners, thermo couples and heating elements.
Fault finding on electrical systems including RF ID systems, encoders and servo drives and rectifying the problem.
On site there is a 50/50 split between breakdown and preventative maintenance.
Daily duties
The maintenance Engineer will have a 70/30 split between electrical with mechanical experience.
An electrical qualification will be required for the Maintenance role.
Experience maintaining hot runners, thermo couples and heating elements would be advantageous.
The ideal Engineer will come from a plastics background but other industry will be considered including packaging, FMCG, automotive etc.
GBP35, 000 per annum
6am - 2pm , 2pm - 10pm 6 on 3 off
25 days holiday plus BH
