JOB TITLE: Planning Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: NQ+

THE ROLE:

Covering a broad spectrum of planning matters, this nationally respected planning team is working on some of the country's biggest and well known development projects, offering all its Solicitors and Partners the opportunity to challenge themselves, developing new skills and knowledge within this niche area. Working closely with industry experts, the Planning Solicitor will advises on a broad range of matters including compulsory purchase and land compensation, applications, planning enforcement and highway agreements, and support the Real Estate and Construction teams on major project work.

THE CANDIDATE:

A talented Planning Solicitor is sought after by this leading law firm. The successful Planning Solicitor will have up to around 3 years PQE and demonstrate a clear desire and the raw talent to become a specialist in this sector. The Planning Solicitor will be dealing with a wide client base in both the public and private sector advising on all types of development and strategy. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to strive developing themselves and the business. Recently qualified Solicitors are invited to apply to this position - you will have spent at least a 6 month seat dealing with Planning law within a top 100 law firm and have an exemplary academic track record.
