About our role:

Primary Purpose:

To support my clients NoEUR sales functions through proactive opportunity identification and tracking as well as supporting the leadership team with fact-based market data and customer analysis to help the strategic business development.

Key responsibilities:
• A large focus of this role will be on the identification and tracking of sales opportunities using projects portals like Glenigan, EIC, Tenders Direct etc. This will require close working with the sales teams in order to accurately assess opportunities
• Understand and monitor the key sectors, anticipate trends, and help predict their likely impact on the business
• Analyse and interpret company data, using multiple systems, and report on findings
• Create and maintain a database of market information including: competitors, customers and acquisition targets
• Create market reports, as required, to support strategic growth areas
• Identify new market opportunities resulting from changes in the market (i.e. competitor product development, pricing strategies, emergent legislation, environmental issues etc.).
• Assist with the creation of measurement processes to enable the accurate measurement of market share and market attractiveness

• Accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and am analytical mind
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent (spoken and written) communication skills
• Commercial awareness
• A methodical approach to work
• Ability to work with large datasets and interpret findings
• Have strong IT skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft packages
• Be flexible and work as part of a team
• Competent in using the web and web-based search tools to access market information
• Ability to interpret basis company accounts and establish underlying business performance
• Discretion in handling sensitive commercial data / information

Education/Qualifications
• Graduate - ideally with a business related degree
• Maths & English GCSE or equivalent
