There are numerous volunteer roles to take on ranging from dance judges and technicians to various meet and greet roles. Each role is a key part of ensuring the smooth running of the show. This work is invaluable in encouraging young people to fundraise for the services we provide, all of which make a real difference to the lives of people in crisis here in the UK and around the world.

  • The desire to find out more about the work of the British Red Cross and how its volunteers make a real difference to the lives of people in your neighbourhood

  • Becoming a volunteer for the British Red Cross means that you can proudly say you are part of the world's largest humanitarian organisation

Tasks Included in this Role:

Meet and Greet Roles:

  • Front of House: help to register participating groups as they arrive and to sell tickets, programmes and raffle tickets to the audience
  • Judge Liaison: brief the judges, tally up scores, write out all certificates, ensure judges are on stage to present the trophy
  • Engage the audience with both the show and the work of the British Red Cross
