A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Representative to join a fast-growing independent finance broker who offers a wide range of finance solutions to the medical, dental, veterinary and aesthetic professions throughout the UK.

In this exciting and varied role, you will be working as part of a small, busy and friendly team, where you will form an integral part of the sales function. Your primary responsibility in this role will be to generate and drive new business, growing the patient finance customer base as well as providing excellent support to existing patient finance customers.

You will be responsible for proactively managing a pipeline of new business, converting accepted proposals and keeping suppliers and customer's up-to-date with the status of their deals. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong attention to detail and can confidently and effectively communicate at all levels. The successful candidate will be building and maintaining strong business relationships, liaising daily with the medical practice teams and lenders to ensure the client's needs are met.

The Patient Finance Sales Representative will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proactively contacting customers to maintain a high level of service, whilst identifying new opportunities for profitable growth
  • Maintaining current sales contacts
  • Increasing overall system usage from existing customers
  • Developing and maintaining new business opportunities
  • Keeping a detailed and accurate records of all opportunities
  • Developing and implementing key sales, promotional strategies and joint business plans with customers
  • Establishing good working relationships with Dentists and Practice Managers
  • Contributing to the overall corporate strategy and growth of the business
  • Undertaking tasks as directed by the Directors and/or Senior Managers
  • Promoting patient finance at regional and national events
  • Building and maintaining a database of competitor products and services
  • Identifying wider business opportunities for other products and services.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years field based sales experience
  • Possess strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Proven and demonstrable track record in consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Highly numerate
  • B2B and B2C experience
  • Confident at Board Level
