CHILDRENS CHARITY PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

£22,000 per year

WHO ARE WE? WHAT DO WE DO?

Our charity supports local children across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes. We are the organisers of an annual summer programme offered to all young people across the county. The programme is a four week summer programme that gives young adults of today, a taste of what to expect in the next steps of their lives within education. This programme has enhanced the lives and choices of thousands of children. They get exposure to university settings, college settings, problem solving exercises and achieve so much within the programme.

WHAT WILL YOU ARE DOING?


  • Be a point of contact for the programme team and handle day to day operational issues,


  • Making appropriate decisions and action to deal promptly with any problems as they arise.


  • To support in the recruitment, induction and management of team leaders, team assistants and volunteers.
  • To co-ordinate and support programme logistics, including venues, transport and resources for delivery within budget.
  • To develop and maintain links with local business and organisations to generate support and sponsorship in kind for the social action projects.
  • To ensure high quality social action projects for young people and co-ordinate the graduate activity.
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of the NCS database/CRM to ensure that progress reports, contract claims, supporting MI and auditable evidence can be submitted accurately.

    PLEASE NOTE: The programme is ran in the summer for four weeks. This is our PEAK time and we are looking for people that want to make a difference and commit the programme during peak times.
