Data Engineer

Data Engineer - Telematics Technology Provider What is the role? This is an Analytic Stack Data Engineer position for an innovative Telematics Technology Provider based in Surrey. In this role you will be working on developing Hadoop applications and building well-formed APIs. You will be able to take advantage of test-driven development, pair programming and continuous delivery while working with other Data Scientists and Project Managers on the telematics data for the business. What do you need to succeed? Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem. Extensive experience utilising Spark/ Spark Stream. Scala/ Java/ Kotlin development experience. Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/ Kamban / XP). Experience with volumes of large data. What will you get in return?
