Seasonal Field Trials Technicians

NIAB is looking to recruit Field Trial Technicians working in plant variety trials. The roles will involve measuring plant characteristics in the field and via image analysis, along with a range of other practical tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in agricultural field crops.

Applicants will need to demonstrate an interest in agriculture/plant sciences and be willing to learn; full training will be given. A good eye for detail is also essential, along with the ability to follow strict protocols. Applicants will also need to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work as part of a team. The work can be physically demanding and will entail spending substantial periods of time working outdoors.

The roles are Cambridge based, and a full driving licence is desirable, as is the requirement to work at off-site trials.
