The role:

We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Senior Account Handler to join our team. The role will be based at our office in Manchester.

You will need to be determined, positive and self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport.

Within the role, there will be an amount of broking new business cases which will require you to be able to react at a fast pace. You will also be reviewing insurance programmes whilst looking to improve these by finding a better solution for the client.

We are very interested in speaking to candidates who have experience of dealing with large corporate clients within insurance. Candidate will have preferably have ACII or DIP working towards ACII or equivalent

Duties:

As part of the wider client services team the focus of an Account Handler is to provide a professional service and day to day support to our clients and colleagues.

  • You will produce and maintain accurate and complete documentation/correspondence in a compliant manner within timescales set
  • Respond to client's queries in a timely manner and accurately by using and amending standard letter, writing clearly, concisely and professionally
  • Prioritise workload and client requests
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a working knowledge of the relevant business area and related products
  • To build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues
  • To suggest opportunities to help improve operating efficiencies.
  • To be the first point of contact to provide clients with professional support and accurate information with regards to their product and services whilst demonstrating the company values.

The candidate:

  • Will have experience working as an Account Handler within Insurance dealing with large corporate clients
  • Preferably have ACII or DIP working towards ACII or equivalent
  • Acturis experience
  • Self-Motivated and organised individual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational skills to ensure that company processes and procedures are put in place
  • Achieving results
  • Communicating effectively, influencing and relationship building
  • To be able to forward plan effectively
  • Team Working
  • Customer Service experience
