Our client is a leading Luxury Retail Company with retail outlets around the world. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a German Payroll Advisor to work in their Brand new Finance Shared Service Centre.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to combine their language skills and Finance skills.

The successful candidate will be working as a German Speaking Payroll Advisor within my client's new Shared Service office.

The suitable candidate will work within the German Payroll team focusing on ensuring accurate and timely payroll run for given region.

Job Description

The role offers the opportunity to work in a Payroll role within an Established Luxury Company.

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with day to day administration activities relating to monthly payroll - covering varying groups of employees with varying Terms and conditions
Payroll activities including ; transferring data to payroll finance, additional runs, manual deductions, adjustments, manual payments and cut off dates etc
Provision of month end payroll summaries, overtime reports
Provision of Gross pay analysis to Finance for budgeting purposes
Ensuring payroll activities remain compliant following liaising with the HR and Sr Managers
Ensure Process controls are in place for relevant documentation
Accountability for payroll calendar and updating of team members
Supporting Payroll Audits, Risk and compliance matrix outcomes
Acting as a Tier 2 process expert and point of escalation for any Payroll admin activities
Providing Guidance to team Administrators
Meeting given KPI's and SLA's
Taking ownership of escalations and seeking resolutions for general questions and issues for customer satisfaction and business improvements
Contribution to ad hoc payroll HR projects when necessary
Managing and motivation of team to ensure effectiveness and cohesion
Supporting the continued development of team members, building their process and subject matter knowledge

Job Requirements & Qualifications

On the job training will be provided, but the successful candidate is likely to the following attributes:

Fluent in German and English - Written and Spoken both to Fluent Business Level
Degree educated
Payroll Process experience of 4 + Years
IPP or other Payroll qualifications desirable
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
SAP knowledge
Exposure to 3rd party vendors, various payroll systems and complexities of German payroll processes
Strong Analytical skills
