Coram is a diverse, vibrant and innovative organisation. Created in 1739 by Royal Charter, we are the UK's longest-serving children's charity, and we help some 1.2million children and families each year. The main purpose of this role is to secure and steward five-figure grants from trusts and foundations from a portfolio of existing donors; and to grow this area by securing new and multi-year support. Coram's Fundraising Team works to raise GBP3-4million in revenue and capital funding each year. We are in the midst of a capital appeal, for the redevelopment of Coram's unique campus to realise its vision as a national centre of excellence for children. The Philanthropy Team focuses on securing income from trusts, foundations and major donors. We are seeking a trusts and foundations fundraiser who is interested in the development opportunity of expanding into Statutory fundraising. Your success as an income generator will be matched by the flexibility you bring to your work. You will also be a team player who is keen to learn from - and share with - colleagues. Coram is a complex and interesting organisation, so you will be eager to seek out the information you need and delve into the detail. Above all, your belief in giving children the best start in life will come across in the way to work with colleagues, prospects and funders alike. Coram is based on our Bloomsbury campus, between Holborn and Kings Cross in central London. For an application pack, please click on the link below.
