Warehouse Operative

This family owned company is looking for the right person to join the team in their very fast paced Warehouse.

Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, your duties will include;
- Ensuring that orders are physically picked and hand palletised to meet strict dispatch deadlines
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed correctly and checked
- Ensuring that the Packing Lines are supported with the right stock at the right time
- Meticulously following the goods inwards process to ensure that stock is received correctly, rotated and stored in its correct location
- Maximising Warehouse capacity by efficiently managing the space available
- Operating lifting equipment, including Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks and Pallet Trucks
- Driving Company vehicles to move stock and occasionally make deliveries to their customers
- Completing Daily Checks on lifting equipment
- Meeting all Health and Safety, Company Standards and Procedures
- Ensuring that a high standard of hygiene is maintained in the Warehouse area

To apply for this role you must have;
- A proven track record gained in logistics as a Warehouse Operative
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work accurately and methodically to meet deadlines in a pressured environment
- A Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence which was taken or refreshed in the last 3 years
- A full and valid UK driving licence
