Salary: Up to GBP20,000

My client, a leading environmental consultancy, are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Ecologist to join their Ecology team based in Livingston. My client is highly experienced and specialist in their ecology services, with over 40 years' ecological experience, and offer great opportunity for career development.

Your role will include:

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Assisting with writing reports
• Liaising with clients
• Desk studies

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• BSc in Ecology or a related discipline
• 1+ years seasonal and consultancy experience
• Demonstrable experience in carrying out ecological surveys (GCN, Bat, Bird, Reptiles and Badgers)
• Phase 1 Habitat survey experience
• Botanical experience
• CSCS certification
• Full, clean UK drivers licence
