Bar Manager

Showcasing their award winning craft beers, this is a brewery tap situated in the North Wales seaside town of Porthmadog. Since opening under the new Management, it comes highly recommended as one of the best places in North Wales with an excellent reputation for serving quality craft beer and food.

They are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join their growing team as Bar Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced front of house and bar person to manage a newly establish team of staff.

Highlights of this role include:-

- Showing vision and competency in successful management of all aspects of bar management
- Overseeing the successful running of the bar and front of house maximising on sales of beverages
- Working closely with their Head Chef to maximise food sales
- Managing stock effectively and ensuring a consistently high wet gross profit rate
- Management, motivation, coaching and development of all staff
- Developing positive working relationships
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Showing real commitment in meeting operational standards and delivering on KPI's

Successful candidates will require -

- Management and hospitality experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Health and Safety conscious with considerable understanding of operations within the hospitality sector
- The ability to lead from the front, have an eye for detail regarding service & standards, be highly organised and have effective people management skills, being able to delegate effectively up and down the ladder in order to manage our brewery tap
- Product knowledge - to have experience of working with and/or a passion for real ale and craft beer
