Our Macquarie Capital team are looking for a Business Information Researcher to join us in our Edinburgh office. With staff in 37 offices across 22 locations, Macquarie Capital is a truly global business. A role in the team of researchers will enable you to provide support to Macquarie Capital transaction staff across all sectors and products.

You will work closely with the regional head of Research based in London as well as the Business Research Analyst based in Edinburgh, conducting quick turnaround research requests, creation of company profiles and in-depth research. You will utilise a wide variety of online databases as well as open source information from the web.

You will have 2 years+ experience working in a business research environment, and experience with database services (such as ThomsonOne, BvD Orbis, Factiva, Bloomberg, Factset). You will also have the ability to prioritize, problem solve, respond quickly to requests and handle a workload requiring creative, analytical and evaluative thought processes. A strong degree or post graduate qualification in information/library science is preferred, although your application will also be considered if you hold an alternate degree and you have proven research experience.
