In 2017, we created and ran digital advertising campaigns in over 100 countries, for clients from 15 nations.
The Web Analyst Opportunity:
As a Web Analyst you will get to work across a multitude of projects, from auditing, setting up and configuring tracking and tags across clients’ websites, to building reports and dashboards, and training internal and external stakeholders in the usage of analytics packages.
Day-to-day you will primarily work alongside fellow Web Analysts and the Web Analytics Manager assisting with web analytics implementation and related projects. Your responsibilities will also include communicating with clients, producing supporting documentation, helping to manage projects, and training internal and external stakeholders in analytics packages.
Web Analyst Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
+ Implement tracking and advanced Google Analytics features using Google Tag Manager
+ Implement and set up Google Analytics accounts, including advanced features
+ Build reports and dashboards using built-in tools within Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
+ Regularly produce content, i.e. blogs and webinars, around website tracking
+ Collaborating with the Web Analytics Manager in presenting training courses about GA and GTM, with the goal to eventually present alone
Web Analyst Requirements:
// Education and Training:
+ Degree educated (or equivalent work experience)
+ Training on ad serving and tracking solutions including Google Tag Manager and DoubleClick Campaign Manager
+ GAIQ qualified would be an advantage
// Knowledge and Experience:
+ Minimum 1-2 years working in the Web Analytics field
+ Knowledge of Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
+ Excellent Excel knowledge
+ Confidence in public speaking and/or training, or a willingness to be mentored
+ Use of Google Analytics 360 would be an advantage
+ Experience of using other analytics packages e.g. Mixpanel, Adobe, Webtrends would be an advantage
+ Good knowledge of website ux best practice would be an advantage
