Location: Watford
Salary: GBP18,000-GBP20,000 per annum, dependent on experience & performance + attractive bonus / commission structure, OTE GBP35,000 per annum

The Company: Our client is a leading business utility consultancy, specialising in the energy, telecom and water utilities. They are currently partnered with almost every utility supplier in the UK and are experiencing considerable growth. Due to this growth, there are excellent opportunities for Telesales Executives to join the team in Watford on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role: As a Telesales Executive you will be responsible for business to business sales calls, pitching utility deals to potential clients.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about the utility products on offer
Answering questions and detailing benefits of switching to a new supplier
Asking questions to understand customer requirements and closing sales
Entering and updating customer information in the database
Taking and processing orders in an accurate manner
Going the "extra mile" to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
Keeping records of calls and sales and noting useful information
The Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Telesales Executive role will have proven experience as a sales representative, ideally in a telesales role, however other sales experience will be considered. You must have a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and outstanding negotiation skills. Previous experience within the utility industry would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

Proven experience as a sales representative
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to learn about products and services and describe / explain them to prospects
Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Desirable Candidate Criteria:
Previous experience in the utility industry
Telesales experience
