Rapid expansion in the education sector, particularly primary education, resulting from Dolce’s innovative approach to creating true customer partnerships, through the provision of quality, on-site catering services, with meals ‘cooked from scratch’, has led to the need to appoint a Human Resources Manager to support the business at an exciting time in its development.

Reporting to the Operations Director, and taking both a strategic and hands on approach, the Human Resources Manager will lead the development of Dolce’s people strategy and practices, ensuring policies and procedures are aligned with the company’s operational and financial objectives, and further growth plans.   

Leading and developing a small HR team, this diverse generalist role will include recruitment, talent management, succession planning, compensation & benefits, performance and attendance management.  You will support Directors and Line Managers, as a trusted Advisor, with HR best practice, to help deliver operational and financial results, whilst ensuring employee engagement is maximised and effective communication. 

Applicants will ideally be qualified Human Resources professionals, or of graduate calibre, with equivalent Human Resources experience, gained in a progressive and fast paced organisation.  With a sound generalist background, he/she will be experienced in implementing HR systems, policies and procedures; the development of people strategies and practices; and have a proven track record of meeting targets in a high performance environment. A knowledge of/exposure to TUPE, ideally with local authorities, would be advantageous.
