Location: Hove
Salary GBP25k - GBP35k DOE + company car is available
Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 18.00pm

I have great pleasure is supporting our client in the recruitment of a dynamic and highly organised Property Manager to be responsible for a portfolio of residential properties based locally in Brighton and Hove.

Responsibilities:

* Liaising with landlords and tenants
* Organising safety inspections and dealing with repair issues
* Reporting back to the landlords on remedial work that needs to be carried out
* Processing end of tenancy reports, inventories and schedule of conditions
* Mid-term inspections , reporting and liaising with utility companies ensuring accurate records
* Vetting and screening new tenants and manage the new tenancies
* Manging tenants, handling complaints and emergency situations
* Check ins and check outs
* Negotiating deposit returns
* Serving legal notifications
* Deal with all maintenance requests
* Ensure all regulatory compliance is met
* Building strong business relationships with landlords and contractors

The right candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

* Proven property management background
* Managed a portfolio of 100 properties
* Strong negotiation skills
* Excellent knowledge of property legislation
* Great attention to detail
* Ability to deal with complaints through to resolution
* Natural rapport builder with strong problem solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
