Job Title: Thermoform Technical Setter
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire (Please only apply for this role if you’re eligible to work and live in the UK as the company will not be paying any relocation costs)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent - 42/wk, working rotating continental shifts:
0545-1800 Days & 1745-0600 Nights (4 days on - 4 days off - 4 nights on)
The Company is a leading manufacturer of thermoformed rPET packaging to the food industry in the UK and Europe.
Their production site consists of 3 Extrusion lines and 32 Thermoforming machines, producing food grade plastic packaging.
The company currently has an opportunity for a Thermoform Technical Setter
You will report to the Thermoform Technical Team Leader, and work as part of a team of setters responsible for effective setting up of our fleet of thermoforming machines.
All activities must be carried out in line with Company and regulatory requirements.
Your duties will include:
- Set up, all thermoforming equipment optimisation, tool prep and any duties as assigned
- Making sure set ups are right the 1st time and in accordance with SOP to maximise output, quality & efficiency.
- Tool maintenance to ensure always in a 'Good to Go' state.
- OEE (reducing any kind of internal waste)
Ideally you should have thermoforming experience, and technical understanding & the ability to communicate effectively, be a team player, self-motivated and show a 'can-do' approach to the role.
You must have IT skills to use NAV effectively.
Training will be provided for routines and procedures.
