Junior Designer

At Danilo Promotions, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Junior Designer to work closely with our successful licensed product ranges including Greeting Cards / Calendars / Gift Bag & Wrap design studio.
The candidate would need to be fully proficient in Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Excellent communication and teamwork skills and close attention to detail is essential. The candidate also needs to have the ability to work to a deadline and manage multiple projects.
This is a full-time role based at Danilo's Head Office in Waltham Abbey.

THE ROLE

You will initially be assisting in all areas of the studio including concepts, adverts, artwork and product submissions.
You must have a good understanding of print processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work within a team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working alongside the Designers to produce high quality commercial products
• Working on designs and art working pages ready for print
• Design and produce any other printed material as may be required
• Art working the company's print advertising
• Producing occasional digital marketing material 
• Thinking creatively in order to produce new ideas and concepts and then presenting these ideas to senior personnel

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Comfortable working within a team environment
The ability to give and to receive constructive feedback
Creative flair and caption writing an advantage
Up to date knowledge of industry software
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
Ideally with a year+ experience working as a designer, but graduates will also be considered.
Thorough working knowledge of CC Indesign, CC Photoshop, CC Illustrator
