Mortgages Product & Pricing Assistant Manager (TSB/0118/107351)
Core purpose of this role is to develop regular pricing proposals for mortgage products covering all segments and all channels and ensuring products deliver agreed volume and margin objectives within risk appetite. A developed understanding of the Mortgage acquisition strategy and sales process will be required.
Key accountabilities
• Key responsibility is to provide analysis of product performance on daily / weekly / monthly basis to identify deviations from expectations (margin, volume, risk, customer profile and segments) and propose solutions
• Work with the Pricing Manager to identify and develop detailed product and pricing proposals targeted at customer needs within agreed volume and margin objectives. This includes presentation of the proposals at weekly Product and Pricing forum
• To develop proposals need to engage and influence key stakeholders across the business which include Credit Risk, Conduct Risk, Finance, Distribution, Sales process and Business Unit Control Function
• Once proposals agreed you need to manage on-time delivery of new products working with the Launch Delivery team
• Provide subject matter expertise on competitor pricing and policy by utilising third party database and articulate potential impact on TSB
• Awareness of wider mortgage market performance and trends using CACI, CML, BoE and media commentary
• Providing input on overall pricing and product strategy
