Business Unit Accountant
Salary negotiable plus excellent benefit package
Location - Hoddesdon
The overall objectives of the role is to: Become a key financial partner to the Shared Services Heads of Departments, assisting in broader business initiatives and supporting with quality information and analysis. Provide high quality analysis to the businesses and VWUK ExCo to facilitate cost management, and to track and monitor business benefits Assist in the Group reporting processes to enable accurate and timely reporting to Holland
Responsibilities
?? Ownership of all ledgers and balance sheets for shared services departments
?? Improvement and control of internal recharges processes (such as insurances, fleet, IT)
?? Calculation and control of management charges
?? Support for Heads of Departments in calculating accruals and prepayments, budgeting and forecasting
?? Ownership of all fixed asset registers, including posting of depreciation, asset acquisitions and disposals and reconciliation to GL
?? Ownership of all ledgers and balance sheets for dormant / run off companies including group reporting and stat accounts
Required Expertise / Qualifications
Graduate (2.1 or above)
Qualified accountant (preferably ACA)
Proven business analysis skills driving benefits
Proven business improvement / change record
