Be a fundraising support volunteer

This is an exciting opportunity for you to get involved in supporting our fundraising team by getting involved in a variety of tasks and activities. We support and arrange a large number of fundraising activities, events and collections across the country involving volunteers in a wide range of activities.

This volunteer role will suit those who wish to get involved in lots of stuff on a regular basis in supporting their local British Red Cross Fundraising team.

Typical tasks may include

  • Organising collections on behalf of the Red Cross
  • Supporting with Red Cross week fundraising activity
  • Arranging your own fundraising activities or events with other volunteers and supporters
  • Generating interest in your community in what we do and how they can help
  • Actively supporting or organising support and participation at events, walks, marathons and collections

We know everyone is different and will try to tailor the volunteering opportunity around you - where possible utilising any existing skills you may have.

Other information

  • Minimum age 18. We have other fundraising roles available for under 18's
  • Own means of transport would be beneficial
  • Repayment of expenses (by prior agreement) is available.
  • You will be given an induction and further role specific training.
