Recruitment Administrator - Temp - Royston

A vacancy has arisen for a Recruitment Administrator, based at Johnson Matthey HQ in Royston, to work closely with the Senior Recruitment Partner to deliver an excellent experience for Group candidates and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Acting as the first line response for queries from candidates, hiring managers and the wider HR team
  • Advertising roles internally and externally, ensuring consistent professional look and feel
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies where required
  • Monitoring responses/applications received via the Taleo recruitment portal and making sure they are progressed as per agreed timescales
  • Where required, shortlisting candidates against an agreed set of criteria
  • Co-ordinating assessment and interview processes, ensuring that they move forward smoothly and efficiently
  • Identifying and utilising suitable attraction methods to support recruitment for existing and future campaigns.

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will:

  • Be CIPD/REC qualified, or have an interest in studying for one
  • Have a minimum of Grade B in GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Have intermediate Excel skills, able to assimilate data with ease and using it to inform decisions
  • Have experience of working in a busy office, managing administration for multiple stakeholders
  • Have a genuine interest in recruitment, ideally with some experience of working in a recruitment department
  • Have excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Be able to effectively manage high workload and conflicting priorities
  • Have a strong internal and external customer focus, with a collaborative approach
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
