Your new company
This world-class automotive manufacturing business is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their business based in Swindon. You will be joining their Procurement and Logistics team as they prepare for yet another successful year, heading into financial year 2019.

Your new role
As the Logistics Manager, you will be working along side the Head of Logistics to ensure that all goods arrive to a JIT delivery standard. The Logistics Manager will be working with around 65 colleagues to ensure that the goods are received into the business at the correct time however this role will have no direct reports. You will be expected to take part in both the Operational and Strategic activities daily. You will work with the CI team to ensure that inventory levels are reduced but not putting the business at risk.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will hold a professional qualification within the Logistics sector or be an accredited member of the CILT. You must have worked within a manufacturing business previously, ideally the Automotive industry. You must have gained the experience of working with both raw materials and finished goods planning o be successful in this role. This role will also require high levels of internal stake holder management and you must have the ability to display your experience of working with both internal and external logistics for this Logistics Manager job.

What you'll get in return
As the Logistics Manager; you will earn a salary of up to GBP75,000. In addition to this, you will be entitled to a company car and an extensive company bonus paying up to 30%. As the Logistics Manager, you will also be entitled to a wide range of alternative benefits including a pension scheme matching up to 6.5% of your personal contribution.
