Our highly experienced team provides an award-winning service to customers and their families who have suffered injury or illness while abroad, as well as supporting our clients across all aspects of the industry, from the initial purchase of an insurance policy to any claim that may arise. We work with industry trade groups, major insurers and underwriters worldwide, ensuring that travellers, policy holders and corporate clients receive the best possible service.

As our new and existing departments sustainably grow, we are now recruiting to serve a new venture in our company's portfolio and to cover the busy Summer season that is fast approaching.

We welcome applications from candidates who are currently or have previously worked in call centres, however we are not a sales or targeted environment.

We also encourage language speakers to apply particularly those speaking French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

THE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TEAM:
We provide emergency medical assistance and logistical support to travel insurance policy holders and corporate clients who become sick or get injured overseas.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and our shift rotations are split over a day shift and a night shift:

Day shift (permanent and temporary fixed contracts available):

Permanent:
Salary: Up to £16.000 (Bilingual in English and another European Language preferred but not necessary)
8:00am – 4:00pm
10:00am – 6:00pm
12 noon - 8:00pm

March to October – March to December – April to October and May to September, the latter being perfect for school or university students.

The administrator's role:
The great thing about working for Global Response is that every day is different. Clients call in from all over the world needing our assistance; whether they have been bitten by a monkey in Thailand or have broken a leg following a ski accident, our administrators need to be able to take the first call, gather all the information required and set up a case. They will then verify the caller's insurance details and pass the case to one of our Case Managers to provide whatever further assistance is needed. Our administrators have to be calm and organised with outstanding people skills, as we deal with patients and their families who may be upset and worried about the situation in which they find themselves. This is a very fast-paced, exciting role with the potential to progress through the company should you have what it takes.

This job might be for you if:

  • You are bilingual (not necessary but preferred).

POLICY SERVICING TEAM:
We provide a service to policy holders of travel insurance when making a claim against their policy, you will be responsible for supporting them through every query they may have.

Permanent and temporary fixed contracts available.

Permanent:
Normal business hours are Mon-Fri 08:00am - 8:00pm

You will need to have outstanding people skills, as you will be interacting with policy holders on the phone and by email.
This may be from the original purchase of the insurance to assisting with the claims process. You must be confident on the telephone, with a polite demeanour. Experience in a call-centre environment is beneficial, however we are not target driven and therefore do not class ourselves as a call-centre. Excellent written English and grammar is crucial for this role. A positive and professional attitude is important and you must be adaptable when dealing with all clients, providers and patients.
