Sales Administrator

Our client’s team is expanding and they have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Administrator with previous sales order processing experience in an office environment, who thrives on being busy and working within a small dedicated team.

The role involves:

• Receiving customer orders from National Account Managers and directly from customers
• Checking, preparing and processing detailed customer orders and customer specific packaging requirements
• Communicating with customers by email and occasionally by telephone to finalise orders
• Managing complex customer files
• Briefing other internal departments on customer requirements
• Preparation of customer samples & occasional note taking in customer meetings

Full training will be given but to be considered you must:

• Be self-motivated, highly organised and methodical
• Be an effective communicator, especially by email and be able to manage multiple email chains proficiently
• Have excellent attention to detail and be able to maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure (this will be tested at interview)
• Have very good numerical skills for entering, checking, analysing data and solving problems
• Possess good IT skills – Outlook & Excel are essential
• Occasionally be able to handle bulky customer samples

The ability to communicate orally and in writing in a European language would be an advantage.
