Fault finding and repair of all types of electrical faults is the daily work and covers a vast array of possibilities. Our client does not primarily fit aftermarket equipment although they obviously can and do when required.

Vehicle starting problems are common and they regularly repair Starter Motors and Alternators so an interest in learning bench work would be an advantage if no current experience.

Willingness to train on the use of air conditioning equipment and systems is essential as they carry out repairs to vehicle air conditioning.

Flexibility essential. Applicants should be prepared to have a hands-on approach to all duties involved with working for a large independent garage

Ability to read wiring diagram and a knowledge of how all electrical systems work on modern cars.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants need to have experience in most types of electrical fault finding and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Proven experience is most important as it will be vastly tested.
Part experienced but with a good, positive attitude will be considered.
