We are a leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

We are looking for Team Leaders for both the Wellbeing and Recovery Services.

The Wellbeing service aims to assist people in managing their own wellbeing, develop and begin using new coping strategies, decrease their reliance on mental health services and be involved with decisions about their treatment generally.

The Recovery Hub enables people to learn how to manage their mental health and wellbeing effectively, and offers information and guidance for people to develop coping mechanisms and build resilience. Support is offered through a variety of Recovery Hub opportunities, including condition management, one to one holistic personal development planning as well as social and peer support sessions.
The Team Leaders will provide support and deputise for the Service Managers with regard to the day to day management of the Wellbeing and Recovery Services. You will be responsible for managing staff members and volunteers and leading on the delivery of support for those experiencing mental health difficulties.

The successful candidates will already have experience of working either in a voluntary or paid role within the mental health field, and will have completed NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

With previous experience in a management role, you will have the skills to provide creative solutions to problems.  You will be an excellent communicator, have a commitment to team and service user development, and have experience of using motivational techniques to assist in the successful attainment of goals and aspirations.

Benefits include an attractive defined contribution pension scheme, Paycare which offers employees affordable cover for a range of healthcare treatments, an Employee Assistance Programme which includes free counselling, Childcare Vouchers and a comprehensive training programme.

Our people are key to the success of the organisation and we are recognised as both a Mindful Employer as well as achieving Gold standard success in Investors in People. We welcome applications from people who have experienced mental health difficulties.
